From York’s one and only operational Brewery, journey into York and discover the city’s lesser-known brewing history and famous inns. This self-guided tour will be available to download to your MP3 player and provides a leisurely-paced 120 minutes of commentary as well as the opportunity to spend time in our three city centre pubs along the way, sampling our great range of award-winning traditional ales.
This fascinating insight into many of York’s pubs, features historical characters; the Vikings, Guy Fawkes and the Rowntrees brothers. You will also discover the local legends behind our own ales; Constantine the Great, the centurion’s ghostly legion and that loyal Yorkshire terrier.
The tour is also available ‘guided’ for large groups or as a team-building event, details available upon request.
